３．銀行｜BANK

日本に住んでいると、給料を振り込んだりするために銀行口座が必要になります。銀行には郵便局も含まれます。銀行によっては、口座開設手続きに日本の電話番号と印鑑が必要な場合があります。印鑑は日本の日常生活に欠かせないものです。印鑑はあなたの署名として、すべての書類に適用します。外国人は印鑑を注文する際に名前をカタカナで書く必要があるので注意してください。一度文章を選択したら、それを使い続ける必要があります。

It is your signature you apply on all documents. Be careful, as foreigner when you order your inkan you need to define the writing of your name in katakana. Once the writing is chosen, you should stick with it, in other case you risk to have quite a lot of administrative trouble.

４．鉄道｜the train transportation service

日本の鉄道のサービスが充実しています。通勤や通学などで電車を利用する場合は、1日の交通費を支払う代わりに定期券を利用する必要があります。定期券は 1か月、3か月、6か月の期間を購入することができます。切符は駅の券売機で購入できます。切符を購入する際に、どの駅からどの駅まで移動するかを指定する必要があります。日本では、乗車券は距離に応じて料金が設定されており、この乗車券があれば両駅間が無料で乗り放題です。
